A place where we don’t have to be afraid of ridicule for believing all that the Bible says, and working within the Bible’s revelation as we do personal exploration. Unsure about therapy? Me too.
I do like IFS though. The Internal Family Systems framework—used carefully and within clear limits—can be a helpful tool. A way of noticing what is going on inside us, bringing clarity, and sometimes experiencing real emotional relief and peace. What it can't do is give us peace with God. It doesn't have to. That's what the Gospel is for.
I want this to be a resource group for prayerful personal exporation. Bible based guides, interactions, IFS-based demos, etc.
I learned IFS via the 'Stepping Stones' course, and have several years working with the model. During this time I have pondered how IFS relates to Christianity. Earlier in my life I was a pastor and I continue to love God's Word and the Gospel. I delight to see people come to know the amazing grace of the Lord.

A ridicule-free place for Bible believing Christians to use IFS to know ourselves better, and seek peace within ourselves, with others and with God.
