Ways of getting your credit report
- AnnualCreditReport.com — the official site authorized for free credit reports from:
- Equifax
- Experian
- TransUnion
Steps:
- Go to the site above.
- Verify your identity.
- Request reports from one, two, or all three bureaus.
- Review them for errors, unfamiliar accounts, or signs of identity theft.
If you also want your credit score:
- Many banks and credit card issuers provide a free score through their online banking portal.
- You can also get a free score from: Experian Free Credit Score Credit Karma
