Skool Weekly Recap Posts: What to Include
A weekly recap post is one of the most underrated posts you can add to a Skool community.
It helps members catch up, reinforces the value of the group, and gives people a reason to come back.
A good weekly recap does not need to be complicated.
Here is what to include.
𝟭. 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
Highlight the most useful conversations from the week.
Example:
“This week, the best discussion was around [topic]. A few great points came up about [lesson].”
𝟮. 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀
Call out progress.
Example:
“Big shoutout to everyone who shared wins this week, especially [example].”
𝟯. 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀
Point members back to useful content.
Example:
“If you missed it, we talked about [topic]. This is especially useful if you are struggling with [problem].”
𝟰. 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴
Bring attention to unanswered or high-value questions.
Example:
“There were a few good questions this week around [topic]. If you have experience with this, jump in and help.”
𝟱. 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸’𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀
Tell members what is coming.
Example:
“Next week, we are focusing on [theme]. Watch for posts on [subtopics].”
𝟲. 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
End with one easy action.
Example:
“Drop one thing you learned this week below.”
Weekly recaps work because they make the community feel active even to members who missed the original conversations.
They also help members see that participation matters.
