👋 Welcome to Art With Courage
This is your orientation post. Take a moment to read it so you know how to get the most out of the community and help keep it safe for everyone.
🌍 HOW THIS COMMUNITY WORKS
We keep things simple with a few main areas:
👉 Use “New” to see the latest posts
👉 Use “Top (week)” to catch the most helpful or inspiring posts
Remember, you don’t need to be an experienced artist to join in.
Drawing and painting are like brain games. They sharpen observation, problem solving, intuition, and focus.
You are welcome to share anything you make, even if you feel it isn’t your best.
Often the real win is simply overcoming procrastination or resistance.
Progress takes time, mistakes, and persistence. Everyone you see posting strong work once felt like they would never get there.
Let their posts inspire you, not discourage you.
🔒 SAFETY & COMMUNITY CARE
✨ Be kind and respectful – feedback should support, not discourage
🚫 No spam or random sales – please don’t post comments asking to buy, sell, or share phone numbers
📢 Admin-only offers – courses or opportunities will come only from me, always optional
💬 Connect, but build trust first – no cold DMs or unsolicited promotions. Collaborate openly here, then connect outside if you both want to
🎨 Keep it art-focused – share your work, challenges, wins, and tips
📌 On sensitive content –
• Artistic nudity is welcome when it supports learning or expression (label posts clearly)
• No explicit or photographic nudity
• No violent or graphic imagery
• No political promotion or divisive debate (art with a message is valid, but it must be shared in the spirit of art, not argument)
🌱 Beginners welcome – every artist’s step forward matters
👀 Moderation is active – we keep this a safe and supportive space
🤝BE HELPFUL! Let’s make this a place of genuine support. Share helpful feedback and suggestions, ask questions, and offer answers. Be the kind of encouraging friend you would want beside you on your own creative journey.
💡 A HELPFUL REMINDER
Whatever you practice regularly, you will grow in.
Avoiding practice also becomes a habit.
Choose to lean into the small steps, and with time they will add up.
