I got this error while creating outbound delivery. although I have stock posting in my plant and I have maintained appropriate unit of measures in my material master record
SOLUTION-It will happen for many of reasons.
in my case stock is wrongly posted, If the confirmed quantity is zero that means you should first check the system calculated mat. availably date. just post the stock with Migo and try to create delivery once again and error will be gone.
