Last time we started working on the /æ/ sound (the sound in cat, man, bad), so since not everyone was there, we’ll continue with this sound tonight during Coffee Hour.
But first… here’s your Tuesday Challenge.

Which of these words contains the /æ/ sound?

Remember:
/æ/ = open mouth, big smile, relaxed tongue

f you say /e/ instead of /æ/, people hear a different word.
cat → sounds like ketman → sounds like men
That’s why this sound is very important.
