Before Hoodoo was ever written about, our elders prayed the Psalms, spoke the Word, and used scripture as protection, clarity, and strength.
Here is today’s Biblical Wisdom reflection
Psalm 51:7“Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.”A reminder that spiritual cleansing begins with intention. Release what no longer belongs, and let yourself be renewed.
Psalm 23:4“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.”Strength for the journey, even when the path feels uncertain.
Psalm 91:1–2“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”A reminder that divine protection is not requested it is claimed.
James 1:5“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, and it shall be given him.”Discernment is a spiritual tool. Wisdom is a gift that responds to the seeker.
Proverbs 4:23“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”Guard your spirit. Guard your energy. Guard your becoming.
