I personally demonstrated the dolerite pounder technique that mainstream Egyptology points to as the primary method for carving granite at this scale.
The obelisk itself is estimated at 137 tonnes and was never completed, which raises legitimate questions about whether the project was abandoned or whether something else was happening at this site.
