Welcome to Running Community Builders 👋
If you’ve just joined, you’re very welcome.
This is a small, focused space for people who want to build something around their connection to running — a club, a coaching offer, or a community — in a way that genuinely fits around life.
A few things that may help as you get started:
1. This isn’t a course-first space
There is a short Classroom course here (along with other resources) to help you get clarity and avoid some common traps. But the real value lives in conversation, shared experience, and learning alongside others.
2. You don’t need to have it figured out
Many people here are still exploring ideas or starting from scratch. That’s not a problem — in many ways, it’s the point.
3. There’s no rush, and no hype
We’re not here to push growth, scale, or doing things “properly”. Simple, sustainable progress matters more than speed.
4. This works best when it’s shared
Ask questions. Share what’s working. Be honest about what isn’t. Often, your experience will help someone else more than you expect.
5. Where to begin
If you haven’t already, head to the Classroom and start with the Foundations course. When you’re ready, introduce yourself in the community and share a little about what you’re thinking of building.
I’ll usually be around — happy to guide and contribute — but this is very much a shared space. The more you take part, the more useful it becomes for everyone.
Very glad you’re here.
