About the Book
I have finally published the book I have been working on for the last 10 years. I would start it and then would put it down and then come back again and again. Everything in this community is based on the book that I have written. It is something that God put on my heart 10 years ago and I finally got around to it. Had I listened, we would be well on our way. But I am going to start this movement and pray that God blesses it. Below is the summary:
Rules for Radical Christians is a comprehensive strategic manual designed to equip believers to withstand and counter the coordinated cultural assault on Western institutions. Moving beyond reactive politics or spiritual withdrawal, the book argues that Christianity is facing a "total war" across seven interconnected spheres of influence: Religion, Family, Education, Government, Media, Arts, and Business.
The book posits that the rapid de-Christianization of culture is not random, but the result of a specific "operational doctrine" derived from Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. It seeks to expose these tactics—which rely on deception, pressure, and polarization—and provide Christians with an ethical, biblically grounded counter-strategy to reclaim their role as "salt and light".
Key Frameworks and Concepts
The Seven Mountains Mandate (Diagnostic Map): The book utilizes this framework not as a manifesto for theocratic dominion, but as a diagnostic tool to identify the specific nodes of power where culture is shaped. It argues that a failure to defend one mountain (e.g., Education) creates a "Cascade Effect" that inevitably destabilizes the others (e.g., Family and Religion).
The Anatomy of Institutional Capture: The book details a five-phase progression used by activists to conquer institutions: Infiltration, Normalization, Pressure, Crisis (Polarization), and Capture. It analyzes real-world examples, such as the theological drift of mainline denominations and the adoption of DEI/ESG policies in the corporate world.
The Alinskyite Operating System: The text dissects Saul Alinsky’s 13 rules, exposing their philosophical roots in "Luciferian rebellion" and their reliance on logical fallacies like equivocation, ad hominem attacks, and the manipulation of perception over reality.
The Strategic Counter-Offensive
Unlike secular political manuals, Rules for Radical Christians rejects the premise that "the ends justify the means." Instead, it integrates biblical wisdom with insights from secular strategists (like Sun Tzu and Robert Greene), filtered through a rigorous ethical sieve.
The core of the book presents 13 Counter-Rules, designed as strategic inversions of Alinsky’s tactics. For example:
- Counter-Rule 1 (Reality Over Perception): Counters the "Phantom Army" by relying on objective data and truth.
- Counter-Rule 4 (Radical Integrity): Counters the "Hypocrisy Indictment" by defining terms clearly and weaponizing repentance.
- Counter-Rule 12 (Radical Solidarity): Counters "Personalization and Polarization" by forming a "Shield Wall" around targeted leaders.
Practical Application
The book moves from theory to practice, dedicating specific chapters to each of the Seven Mountains. It offers concrete strategies such as:
- The Parallel Polis: Constructing resilient alternative institutions (schools, media platforms, economies) when reform is no longer possible.
- The Daniel Option: A strategy for faithfulness and excellence within hostile corporate or government environments.
- Generational Transfer (2 Timothy 2:2): A model for ensuring institutional continuity by prioritizing character over credentials in leadership succession.
Conclusion: Ultimately, the book frames the cultural conflict not as a battle for political power, but as a long-term struggle for truth. It calls for "Faithfulness as Warfare," concluding that while the "Long War" requires strategic shrewdness, the ultimate victory belongs to God.
