We are here for research
I was talking with Joe the other day and while reflecting about our conversation, it made me want to share some thoughts with the group. Sorry for the long post. I did feel it was all important to share.
This community was established to help teach everyone how to research peptides so they can learn about them, understand how they work and what they can potentially do to help our overall health and wellbeing. It is critical that every person own this research piece. We are used to going to a doctor, getting a prescription that tells us how many to take and how often to take them. That is not what peptide research is all about. Peptides are truly being researched by millions of people around the world. The peptides that are approved by FDA have those specifics days, times and dosages. The peptides we find on the Internet do not have that. This is the reason it is called research. When you start to truly research peptides, you will discover that there are varying and different opinions and ideas around them.
One example I have is Retatrutide. There is a group I use for research, that says it’s best to microdose Reta. Take it either every other day or 3 times a week. Then there is another researcher who says to never microdose Reta. So I had a decision to make about how I was going to research this peptide. I know my body, I know how I react and respond to things. I know I have a very sensitive stomach and I felt like some of the reasons given for micro dosing, were built around reducing the gastric side effects. That made more sense to me to research it that way. Now I had a choice of how I wanted to take it. Did I want to do every other day, three times a week. I felt like every other day was good for me. Smaller doses and easier on my system. I researched it that way and it worked great for me. I later switched to 3 times a week as I wanted to reduce the number of shots in a week and that worked just as good for me. I also know of people who took it once a week and that worked great for them. This one peptide is researched in many different ways and that’s why you need to research it so you can determine how YOU want to use it. This life is your journey. You are responsible for making the choices of how and what you do on this journey.
All of the things shared in this group are simply opinions based on research. What people have read, studied, tried etc…. None of it is medical advice. That’s why people choose their words carefully. We don’t need someone saying well so and so told me to do it this way and I did and it made me sick. So it’s that persons fault. When in fact that would be your fault for not taking the time to ensure you knew what you were putting into your body. One other thing to understand is everyone has different bodies and needs. What works for one person may not work for you. So when you actually do the research, you can keep that in mind of what works best for you based on what you know about yourself. So when people in this group suggest you research your question before asking it, we want you to understand that we are only trying to help you on your research journey. We are not trying to avoid answering your questions. Again you need to be responsible for your journey and we are pushing you to put the work in so you better understand what you are doing.
There are a lot of questions in the group about how much BAC water do I need to add to this peptide and how much do I need to pull on the shot etc. That is also determined by how you want to take the peptide. The only important thing to know is how many milligrams are in a bottle and what is the dosage I need to take. Take that information to a calculator and you can add as little as much BAC water as you want. It will tell you how many units to take, and it will tell you how many doses you will get for your bottle so you can plan around that. The thing that helped me the most when it came to peptide research was learning how to use that calculator as it many of the questions that I had with reconstituting. I personally like to add more BAC water to ensure that I’m always drawing more than 10 units. I do not like less than that because it’s harder to read on the syringe. I am able to control that for the most part, because I use the calculator. Maybe your someone who likes the smallest amount possible so you inject less liquid. You can control that for the most part as well.
We hope you enjoy your journey with us and continue to evolve in your learning and understanding of research. Please remember we are trying to help you by challenging you to educate yourself and own your research.
