I'm in a copywriting academy that encourages us to post about our expertise on LI. I tried a post out today and just tanked. I feel like I used to be better at writing leads/hooks in my 20s and early 30s. Any exercises I can try to get better at them?
Anyway, here's the post:
The best copy you write is going to be about the topic you can't get enough of.
The subject matter that consumes your thoughts day and night.
What you live and breathe.
The reason it's going to be your best copy?
Because it's loaded with your enthusiasm.
You are here to show the world exactly why they need your product.
Don't be generic.
We've seen enough generic posts to stack as high as the Tower of Babel.
As the kids say, let your freak flag fly.
You may not see the vanity metrics pile in, but people will notice and want to learn more.
And that's exactly where you want them.
