Tech Tips : Syncing Your Rides
This is a boring but useful tip today. I’ve had a lot of messages over the last week with people being unable to share their workouts to their wahoo/garmin etc. or having similar issues with Zwift, Roovy, TrainingPeaks, TrainingPeaks Virtual, Hexis and so on. I’m sure Vekta will have similar issues too. First of all. Make sure that your devices are paired in settings. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled and connected to your head unit. Ensure that you have the apps downloaded and paired to any relevant devices. Go into your ride and manually sync it to TrainingPeaks, Vekta, Hexis or whatever it may be. If you try these first basic steps and aren’t having any luck then you can ask a question in Skool. Or search for this thread by typing “Sync” into the search bar in Skool. Similar key words will likely help to find previous related threads. Eg “garmin”, “wahoo”, “pairing”, “issues” etc. There are several people coming to me daily with similar issues so please feel free to share it with everybody here. I promise that you aren’t the only one with such issues! ChatGPT or your safari AI bot for example can be reliable for helping with these issues too!

Stoic trick for the new Year
One missed sessions is an "event", two missed is the start of a new "habit". Use this method to reframe missed sessions.
Stoic trick for the new Year
Trust the Process
Folks here's some real world results that Ive personally experienced from "Trusting the Process". Let have some context for the below. Year on year, you see the increase in my FTP (Functional Threshold Power) from following structured training plans. You'll also see progress from training block to training block You'll notice 2023 and 2024 are missing results from some of the training blocks. In 2023, I got sick and had issue which my lungs and heart. It basically destroyed my season. Eventually I got going again mid summer of that year. Then I managed to herniate discs in my lower back, trying to get back to racing by not following the plan and going over the top with training load and intensity. The back injury lingered through the winter and into the 2024 season so I didn't really gect to has a good winter of training prior the season hence the missing data for 2024. Any questions, please ask?

Descending & cornering Masterclass
Folks, we’ve an amazing opportunity to learn descending & cornering from former professional motorbike racer @Sherwick Min I’m personally so excited for this after we got a brief glimpse on Mondays Q&A (which is recorded under “Rider support” in classrooms) I want to make sure we tailor the masterclass so we hit all the main points. Did I miss anything ? - Line choice and vision: where to look, how far ahead, and “outside–inside–outside” in the real world - Braking technique: how to use front vs rear, progressive braking, and how to brake before (and lightly into) a corner - Body position: hips, elbows, weight distribution, low center of gravity, and staying relaxed - Leaning and steering: bike lean vs body lean, countersteering basics, and keeping pressure through the outside foot - Corner entry speed and pacing: judging speed, setting up early, and avoiding “panic speed” mid-corner - Traction and road surfaces: reading grip (wet, gravel, paint, leaves), camber, and how tyres affect confidence - Corner-to-corner flow on descents: linking turns, resetting between corners, and maintaining smoothness - Common mistakes and fixes: target fixation, death grip, overbraking, sitting too far back, and crossing the center line - Safety, etiquette, and group descending: passing rules, spacing, communication, and risk management in bunches
