Do not plot harm against your neighbor, who lives trustfully near you. Proverbs 3: 29
This verse reminds us not to plan evil against anyone close to us, neighbors, friends, relatives, or anyone who trusts us. When God says do not plot harm, He places it in the same category as do not steal, do not commit adultery, do not bear false witness. Stop entertaining thoughts that injure your fellow man. Your Creator does not delight in wicked schemes. He calls us to walk in integrity, peace, and love toward those around us.
