25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. 26 For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. (Proverbs 3:25-26)
Proverbs 3:25–26 reminds us that those who walk in God’s wisdom never have to live at the mercy of fear. Sudden trouble, panic, or the downfall that overtakes the wicked does not belong to the righteous. Why? Because the Lord Himself becomes your confidence, your steady place, your protection, the One who keeps your steps from being trapped. This verse calls believers to rest in God’s security, knowing that no surprise attack, no unexpected crisis, and no shaking of the world can overthrow the one who trusts in Him.
