When you go to take riding lessons, noone ever tells you:
🐴 That riding should benefit the horse’s way of going
🐴 That when the wrong thing happens it is not your horse’s fault
🐴 That learning to walk,trot,canter are just the beginning
🐴 That ground work, understanding body language and behavior are more important than learning to ride
🐴 That reins are NOT for steering
🐴 That you should not push your heels down
