What’s captive, and Non Captive?!?
When you are with a life insurance company, and are a captive agent, you cannot write with any other company.
New agents always ask this question, you will get tied into that company, and their carriers.
I didn’t understand this when I first got licensed, and had to wait a year to get released.
If you keep writing the release date is longer! 😩
