Quick check-in:
What’s one small thing you did this week that kept your kids safe or happy… even though it drained you?
I’ll go first:
“This week, I was running on zero sleep, and my body was completely drained.
I had files of thoughts in my brain that I needed to sort, dinner to cook, and the house was a mess.
But when my kids asked me to build a blanket fort and play board games, I put my exhaustion aside and spent two hours just with them, laughing, joking, and making sure they had fun.
I was dead tired, but I didn’t want them to feel my stress or miss out on feeling safe and loved.
By the end, I was completely wiped—but seeing them happy and secure made every ounce of energy worth it.”
Your turn.
No judgment.
Just honesty.
