There just aren’t enough humans to do all the work in tech.
I love this perspective of Jason Lemkin brings where he says that there just aren’t enough humans to do all the work in tech. This is insightful, because I never thought like this.
  • Custom Emails? No one wants to send hundreds of personalized emails every week.
  • Following Up with Leads? Not exciting, and it’s often ignored.
  • Reaching Out to Lost Customers? It’s tough and doesn’t bring enough results.
  • Onboarding? It’s not fun, and most avoid it.
  • Closing Small Deals? $1k deals don’t get much glory.
  • Building Basic Apps? Everyone wants to work on cool projects, not the boring ones.
  • Picking Up the Phone? It’s a basic task, but no one wants to do it.
This is exactly why AI is the future. It’s already starting to take over these tasks — and it’s only going to get better.
AI will handle the work we don’t want to do, so we can focus on growing and innovating.
