You Want to Be Part of Their Everyday, Even From Far Away ❤️
You want to be someone they can’t wait to tell. ❤️ About the goal they scored. The friend they made. The ridiculous thing that happened at lunch. You want to know their world and have a place in it. Even when you can’t be there for all those everyday moments. I know that feeling. My grands live 1,800 miles away. My Long-Distance Grandparent Playbook is now in the Classroom, and I wrote it for grandparents who want more ways to turn “I miss you” into something they can enjoy together. Inside are 78 pages of ideas for babies through adult grands. Stories to share. Texts worth answering. Games, video calls and little traditions that become yours. The kind of things that lead to “Remember when?” and “Can we do that again?” We’ll also talk about visits, making things easier for their parents and those expectations we swear we don’t have. I supplied a few personal lessons there. Some came with mileage. One came with a deed. 😂 You’ll find research in everyday language, conversations you can make your own and worksheets to choose what fits your family. The free guide is a great beginning. This gives you more to try and come back to as they grow. My grandma had 26 grandchildren. I saw her two or three times a year, and she still made me feel loved and special. I remember the games. The birthday cards. The cinnamon rolls with a section made without walnuts, just for me. She knew me. Those little things stayed with me. That’s what I want for us and our grands. More little things that stay. I promise you’ll come away with fresh ideas, more confidence and a plan to create little moments that make your grands feel known and loved, no matter the miles between you. ❤️ I’m Christi Perillo, adult learning and behavior change expert and the Long Distance Mimi. You’ll find the playbook in the Classroom for $22. ❤️

Your next “What can I do with my grandkids?” idea is in the Classroom! ❤️
Your grandkids keep growing. And the way you connect with them gets to grow right along with them. ❤️ From babies and toddlers to school-age kids, teens and grown grandkids, every stage gives you new ways to build that special relationship. But sometimes you find yourself wondering: “What could we do together?” “What could I text them?” “How do I connect with what they’re interested in NOW?” That’s why I created The AI Connection Guide, a brand-new $9 resource now available in the Classroom. It shows you how to use AI to come up with fresh ideas for texts, games, stories, traditions, activities and adventures based on your grandchild’s age, personality and interests. Have a baby grandchild? Find sweet traditions you can start now. A curious seven-year-old? Create a silly story starring them. A teenager who has outgrown some of your usual activities? Get ideas based on what they’re into now. Grown grandkids? There are plenty of ways to use AI to help you stay connected with them, too. Because this isn’t really about AI. It’s about having more ways to say: “I know you. I’m interested in your world. And I love being part of your life.” And if AI feels intimidating, don’t worry. I specialize in helping people over 55 use AI without the overwhelm. I’ll show you what to ask and how to go from “What in the world do I type?” to “Ohhh…we could do THAT!” 😂 No tech jargon. No hours figuring it out. Just simple prompts and fresh ideas you can actually use. You bring the love. The guide gives you fresh ways to show it. 👉 The AI Connection Guide is $9 and waiting for you in the Classroom. You’ll see it right at the top. Grab it, try one prompt, and come tell us what you’re excited to try with your grands! ❤️ https://www.skool.com/reignite-your-life-9182/classroom

Here for the Moving Closer Guide? Start here! ❤️
If my post about moving closer to our son and grandkids brought you here, welcome! I’m glad you found us. Mike and I made that move thinking being closer would automatically mean more family time and make me happier. It didn’t turn out quite the way I pictured. And judging by the THOUSANDS of comments on that post, I’m definitely not the only one figuring this shizzle out. 😂 So I created the guide I wish we’d had BEFORE we moved. It covers the conversations to have with your grown kids, expectations on BOTH sides, costs, weather, friendships you may be leaving behind, whether to rent before buying, doing a trial run first, and my Random Tuesday Test. 👉 Click the link below or go to the Classroom and open “Thinking About Moving Closer to Your Kids?” https://www.skool.com/reignite-your-life/classroom/d8bd85fe?md=63d9190ad6024d29a7aca09df6601a01 The PDF is waiting for you there. Download it, grab a cup of coffee, and take your time with it. Then come back here and tell me: Are you thinking about moving closer, already did it, or decided NOT to? I have a feeling we’re going to have some GREAT conversations around this one. ❤️ Love them like crazy. Build your life too.
What staying connected looks like from 1800 miles ❤️
❤️ THIS is what staying connected looks like from 1,800 miles away! Today I watched a video of my grandson Carter marching in a band. Just the other day, he was receiving an award! I was sitting here thinking about what an amazing young man he’s becoming, so I decided to tell him. I sent him a text about how proud I am of him. How much he amazes me. And how even though I’m 1,800 miles away, I’m cheering him on every step of the way. His response? “Thanks!!!!! I love you more than the universe 🌌” Well, melt my Mimi heart! ❤️😭 And it reminded me of something I talk about all the time. We don’t have to wait until the next visit to make our grandkids feel loved, seen, and celebrated. Sometimes it’s a text. Sometimes it’s a silly picture. Sometimes it’s letting them know we noticed something wonderful about them. And sometimes those little moments turn into the biggest ones. Close doesn’t have a zip code. ❤️ Here’s my challenge for you today. Send one of your grandkids a message telling them something specific you love or admire about them. Don’t wait for a birthday, an award, or a special occasion. Just tell them. And if you do, come back and tell us how it went! ❤️
