Understanding and Preventing Social Media-Initiated Adolescent Adverse Connection Experiences (SMAACE)
I’ve spent time with middle and high school youth trying to better understand their online (including gaming) experiences. These graphics summarize my thoughts regarding adverse experiences we’ve all read about and for some have experienced through the youth we have interactions. The research found positive and negative impacts on youth wellbeing. Below helps all of us understand how to prevent SMAACE.
