Respect Line.
I came home with radar built to read everybody. Inside, misreading someone could cost you your life. That radar doesn't switch off at the gate.
Out here it goes off on people who were never a threat. Family. Coworkers. Somebody who just said something the wrong way. The guard kept us alive inside. Out here it costs us distance with the people closest to us.
This week, draw the line. Pick one moment from the past month where you went cold or got ready. Then ask yourself one question. Was I actually disrespected, or was that old habit protecting me?
Drop it below. What happened, and which side of the line did it land on?

Home from prison and still can't get right out here? Separate the man you are now from the file that followed you out.
