What is Your Favorite WoW Story
Over the years I have heard some great WoW stories, epic tales of that one raid or dungeon. What is your favorite.
Mine:
I had a small group of people to play with and we could never get together a whole raid team. This was before the flexible raid feature. Anyway, the 3 of us would pug a lot. You know this makes raiding harder if there are no voice communications to help coordinate the fights.
Oh, you need to know that I play a squishy ice mage.
So, the boss is down to 8% most of the group is dead, no more rez available, and somehow it is just the tank, 1 healer, and 2 dps. I got a bit of tunnel vision and next thing I know somehow it is just me, the boss is at 3% and I am running around like a crazy person avoiding the boss, while casting Ice Lance.
I don't see the people in chat telling me to just wipe it. You can bet they were annoyed with me. But somehow I managed to run around using insta cast and a couple timely procs, and actually managed to kill the boss.
I could not recrate that feat if I tried. But it sure was memorable.
