😮‍💨 When The Day Wins
Ever have one of those days that doesn’t just trip you up —
it drags you across the pavement, knees first,
kicks you in the ribs,
and then has the nerve to ask why you’re not smiling, sweetheart?
Yeah.
That was today.
I wrestled resumes, broken files, glitchy systems, government hoops, job postings that might as well be mirages, and the pressure of trying to rebuild a life that keeps slipping through my fingers.
I showed up.
I tried.
I pushed.
And today still chewed me up and spit me out.
I don’t have insight tonight.
I don’t have a tidy lesson or a “look how I grew through it” ribbon to slap on top.
I don’t even have a Rebel Remedy for this one.
All I’ve got are tired bones, a fried brain, and the honesty to say:
Today kicked the absolute shit out of me, and I’ve got nothing left to offer.
If you’ve been here — if you’re here right now —
you’re not alone in that
“I tried my best and still came up short” spiral.
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is admit you don’t have wisdom today.
Sometimes you just make camp before dark and survive the night.
Some days you’re the dragon slayer.
Some days the dragon just… sits on you.
If you’re in one of those days too, drop a “same” or a “still breathing.”
Tonight, that counts as a win.

For the ones becoming themselves again.
Messy, honest, real.
No perfection required.
Just you.
Set things down.
Pick yourself back up.
