Here’s a quick summary from our Zoom meetings of our top developments last week:

1. 🎓 Capstone Project Progress and Presentation Readiness

All Cohort 3 students finalized their Belize real estate capstone projects, including marketing videos, Canva posts, and business plans.
Next week’s “Shark Tank”-style presentations will showcase each participant’s business concept and marketing strategy.

2. 💼 Real Estate Compliance and Business Setup Guidance

We reviewed FIU registration, TIN and business account setup, and legal compliance for handling client funds.
Everyone is reminded to complete FIU registration before conducting independent transactions.

3. 🧭 Deep Dive into Client Relations and CRM Tools

The team explored CRM platforms like Odoo, HubSpot, and Zoho to strengthen lead tracking and client follow-up.
These tools will support better organization and customer service across future real estate operations.

4. 🌍 Land Subdivision and Development Insights

Francisco’s case study on land flipping and Carmelita Gardens provided valuable learning on subdivision and community design.
Emphasis was placed on infrastructure planning, drone use, and ethical development practices.

5. 🤝 Team Collaboration and Presentation Logistics

Sunday Belize City meetup confirmed, with technical checks for Zoom presentations scheduled.
Presentation slots for Feb 3–4 are being finalized; all participants should test screen sharing and equipment in advance.

Reminder: Exams are set for Thursday, Feb 5, 2–6 PM at Kiki Witz for students in Cayo, Stann Creek & Toledo Districts and at Tubal Trades & Vocational Institute for students in Corozal, Orange Walk, and Belize Districts.
