Any tips for buying seafood? 🐟🦪
I have been wanting to try get some seafood after I had some really tasty salmon and tuna sashimi with fish eggs in a Japanese restaurant, but I'm not exactly sure what I should look for when buying seafood.
Is getting wild-caught fish good enough to be safe? Some people say to freeze fish for 24 hours before eating it raw, but I don't think thats necessary and only destroys nutrients. And what about oysters too? Are any oysters fine to eat raw? There are oysters in a supermarket for less than a euro each, but then there are more expensive supposedly "better" oysters from a fish shop that cost several euro each, so I'm not sure what would be better. Any advice or experience people have with this would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
