Hi, I'm Heather
I am American originally from California. My spouse of 30 years was in the military so we have lived all over including a couple overseas assignments. This gave me the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and learn different perspectives.
What I wish I had more of?
I read a lot and understand a lot of the concepts of what should happen. But I don't do well at extrapolating from the examples that are not about the type of work I do.
I am hoping to find people who I can brainstorm with, get ideas, and share resources.
Where I feel alone?
I know how to teach, advise, and coach people on my topic. What I am bad at is sales and finding the right audience. As a neuro diverse person who does not fully connect with the emotional side of things, it is difficult to understand the language that people need. So, I end up putting a lot of work into the logical side of the solution that not enough people see.
