Tuesday 9/10/24 Call Recap and Weekly Challenge
Great call, everyone! We will build off what we discussed today, which was drawing near to God. The challenge this week is to create a space/time to draw near to God. Since you were able to get up for the call from 6:30am-7:30am, the challenge is to continue that every day until next Tuesday. Spend that WHOLE hour without distractions (or doing anything else) by either reading the Bible, listening to music, or simply sitting in silence and praying/communing with God. Take it from David as he writes in Psalms, the morning time is important and is when we get direction!
Psalm 5:3 (NIV) - In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.
Psalm 143:8 (NKJV) - Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.
