Increased Serotonin = Slim Physique
Have you ever wondered why it’s so much easier to be slim and lean in the summer time?
And so much harder in the winter?
We’re just coming out of winter here in Europe and I am always way leaner in the summer time then I am in the winter.
The reason is because in the winter our cortisol levels are usually elevated a bit and serotonin is lower due to lack of sunshine ☀️ and HQ fruits 🍉
Serotonin helps with fat loss. Cortisol can hinder fat loss.
So in the summer, it’s much easier to get into shape because serotonin is elevated due to an abundance of sunshine ☀️ and vitamin D, delicious and nutritious fruit 🍉 and usually also more human connection.
