When I started my first business I had to keep reminding myself that I am no longer an employee. After years of being conditioned as being an employee the mindset transition to feeling like a business owner didn't actually automatically happen over night. You don't have be be leveraged to build someone else's dream. Take your skillset and trade value for money in the market place not your time. Time can't be scale but value (product or service) can be. Over time you will begin to realize the people you were worked with as an employee you begin to no longer fit because they can't relate to you anymore.
