Arabic (Ayah 8)
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ
Transliteration:Ṣirāṭa alladhīna an‘amta ‘alayhim
🌍 Translation (Tarjuma)
“The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor.”
🎙️ Tajweed Explanation (Simple)
- صِرَاطَ (Ṣirāṭa) ص (Ṣād) is a heavy (tafkhīm) letter → pronounced with a deep sound.
- الَّذِينَ (alladhīna) Lam Shamsiyyah (Sun Letter rule):The ل (lam) in “ال” is not pronounced, because ذ (dhāl) is a sun letter.→ Read as “alladhīna” (with stress on “dh”).
- أَنْعَمْتَ (an‘amta) نْ (noon sākinah) followed by ع (‘ayn) →Rule: Idh-hār (clear pronunciation)→ Pronounce the n clearly.
- عَلَيْهِمْ (‘alayhim) مْ (meem sākinah) at the end →If stopping here, apply sukoon clearly (no nasal sound unless followed by specific letters).
