π Before you memorize a new page, there is one step that can make your memorization session much easier:
π₯ A Hifdh Warm Up Session
π This is a short session the night before where you become familiar with the page you plan to memorize the next day
π§ The goal is not to memorize the page completely. Instead, you are preparing your brain by:
- Looking over the page
- Listening to the recitation
- Becoming familiar with the ayahs
- Noticing where the difficult parts are
β³ From my experience, this can significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to memorize a page
π For example, if it normally takes you around 1 hour to memorize a page, doing a short warm up session beforehand can make the next day's session much smoother because your brain has already been introduced to the page
π« Don't underestimate preparation, because a few minutes of preparation the night before can save you much more time the next day
