GRAM Intro
What’s up everyone, my name’s Graham Denault. I produce and DJ under the name GRAM. I was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, and that’s where my whole music journey really started.
I began producing music when I was around 12 years old, originally making rap beats. I ended up staying in Gainesville for college, and early on in those years I was introduced to dance music through some friends and mentors. I pretty much fell in love with it right away. I bought my first DJ controller, shifted my production focus toward dance music, and started diving headfirst into the scene.
I joined a fraternity, which honestly gave me my first real platform to DJ, and from there I began surrounding myself with other DJs around campus and that’s when things really started to click. Building a community, learning from the people around me, and pushing each other to get better is my favorite part of the whole process.
My sound today is heavily influenced by modern bass music and bass house, with artists like Knock2 being a big inspiration. I’m also massively influenced by the friends and artists that I keep close to me. I’ve been really lucky to be surrounded by a group of like-minded people who push my sound forward every day. I want to specifically shout out Butler, Leondis, Terzi, CELO, and so many others for all their help and support throughout this journey.
For the past three years, I’ve been consistently releasing remixes and original music, and that’s led to over 2.5 million streams across platforms, especially on SoundCloud.
I’ve also been fortunate enough to support a wide range of artists, including DJ Diesel (Shaq), NGHTMRE, Crankdat, SLANDER, Morten, Habstrakt, Flosstradamus, 4B, Hippie Sabotage, Henry Fong, Marten Horger, ARMNHMR, Disco Lines, Tape B, Noizu, CID, Kaivon, Ship Wrek, Cheyenne Giles, Westend, Juelz, Sumthin Sumthin, and many others.
One of the biggest highlights of my career so far was getting to play EDC Orlando in 2023.
I’ve since moved to Jacksonville Beach to start my post-grad life and work a “big-boy” job, but music is still my passion and something I’m fully committed to pursuing.
I’m really excited to be a part of this community and after seeing some of the other members here, I’m confident this will be a valuable resource, not just for me, but for artists at every level.
