Here’s the problem with being “smart” in today’s world:
The smarter you are, the more your brain tries to predict and protect.
That’s its job — to keep you alive.
So it’s constantly scanning:
What’s going to happen next? How can I prepare? What if it goes wrong? The truth?
You don’t know what’s going to happen. You never have and never will. Life is unpredictable.
This constant mental forecasting comes at a cost:
- Burnt-out adrenals
- Anxiety that feels like your baseline
- An inability to fully rest
Here’s the shift: You can’t think your way into certainty. But you can believe your way into peace.
When you drop the obsession with control, and move into allowance, trust, and patience, you create space for the miraculous — the very outcomes your intellect could never have predicted.
Today:
- Release the need to “figure it all out”
- Sit in the unknown with confidence
- Act from belief, not fear
Mark 9:23 (NIV) reads:
“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
It’s essentially Jesus telling someone that the limit isn’t God’s power — it’s our belief.
💡 Belief isn’t ignoring reality — it’s refusing to let uncertainty be your master.
