My Why
As a special education teacher, I work with students who exhibit complex and challenging behaviors each day. Guided by Dr. Bailey’s philosophy, I view these behaviors not as problems to be managed, but as forms of communication to be understood. It is my responsibility to interpret what my students are expressing and respond in ways that support their growth and success. I am deeply passionate about understanding challenging behaviors and thoughtfully piecing together the full picture of what each student is communicating. Through this approach, I strive to create supportive, meaningful learning experiences that honor every child’s unique needs and strengths.
