The Daughters of Zelophehad; God does not play about you
In today’s morning, oil prayer, we were in Numbers 27. The story of the daughters of Zelophehad shows that God does not play about His daughters or their destiny. Period!
When these five women boldly stood before Moses and the leaders to claim the inheritance that culture denied them, God Himself responded, publicly declaring, “What Zelophehad’s daughters are saying is right.” He not only defended their voices—He changed the entire inheritance law of Israel in their favor, ensuring they received what was rightfully theirs.
This reminds us that God as is defender of justice, a protector of women’s inheritance, and a Father who corrects systems that overlook His daughters.
