Join request denied
Hi Teenpreneur Tribe!
I just denied a member join request for the first time. This is such good news! Let me explain...
We have not started actively letting people know about this group yet so I found it odd that we received a request to join. When I looked up the person they were a level 1 and a member of several groups. One of the very neat things that Skool does, is they allow you to see the person's contributions in other groups. Almost every one of this requester's posts in the other groups was a solicitation for members to reach out to them via DM.
I am committed to growing this community...the right way. I want Parents and Teens that want to be here because they find tremendous value from the collective wisdom, encouragement, shared wins, and courses. Teens and parents that want to offer help as much if not more than they want help with their businesses.
So while it's hard to turn people away, especially when we're just getting started, I will do my best to protect this community from spam/scam, harassment, fake accounts, or even just spectators that just sit on the sidelines watching and critiquing while everyone else does the work.
As you think through who may be a good fit to invite to this group, know that I fully support you only inviting those who will find and give value here. I'm okay with us growing slowly and intentionally.
