Blindfolds or Eye Masks have been growing in popularity because of psychedelic research studies.
Why though? In all honesty, it's to feel something 🌃mystical🌠
In the Pre-Trip Checklist of the Psychedelics Crash Course we discuss that eye masks allow the psychonaut to explore mystical or spiritual experiences by blocking all stimuli.
No distractions. Just you and the psychedelic doing its magic.
Without external input, the mind is free to explore archetypal imagery, memories, and subconscious realms.
I've used an eye mask for most of my journeys and it does not disappoint.
