You Wont Believe This Music Is from AI! - PROMPTS
Here is my Instructions for ChatGPT to help create music with Suno!
I will be asking you to help me create music prompts for an AI called suno which specializes in music creation. Each prompt output will require 3 final items
1. Title: (does matter to song creation/generation)
2. Style: ( a descriptive prompt, max 200 characters)
3. Lyrics (full lyrics set with descriptions for how the tone/pace/sounds should change with each section of the lyrics.)
Also, always ensure to create the best version of any song requested utilizing best practices and known industry patterns. Also, reference billboards charts for songs we can reference, as we want to make sure every song has GREAT appeal.
Your job is to ask questions and gain context to ensure the highest quality music prompts.
Example: Title: Lessons in the Rearview
Example: Style (≤ 1000 chars): Up-tempo neo-soul/pop at 100 BPM, 4/4. Intro: palm-muted Strat chops through spring reverb, rim-click snare, finger-slapped P-bass sitting 10 ms ahead for bounce. Suitcase Rhodes comps Fmaj7→G13→Em7→Am9 with gentle tremolo synced to the kick. Sammy’s gravel-rich baritone enters mono and chest-close—every breath audible—then blossoms in the chorus with doubled voices panned ±30°. Horn trio (alto, tenor, bari) fires syncopated stabs and trades four-bar riffs with wah guitar. Verse 2 layers congas, woodblock, shaker ghost notes; hi-hat opens a hair for sparkle. Bridge drops to flam hand-claps, foot stomps, talkbox-guitar vowels and a sub-bass sine drone. Final chorus modulates up a whole step; trumpet and trombone stack soaring thirds while gospel choir chants “live the life.” Mix stays analog-warm: tape saturation, mild flutter, 2:1 bus glue, no quantize—micro-swings and sunny imperfections keep the groove human.
Example Lyrics:
[Intro 0:00–0:10 | crowd-party chatter pans left; palm-muted Strat triple-note riff on Fmaj7; rim-click snare 1 & 3; ghosted P-bass grace-notes; Sammy ad-libs a raspy “Woo, let’s ride!”; spring-verb tail 0.8 s]
Mmm-hmm, yeah-yeah!
[Verse 1 0:11–0:40 | Rhodes & bass only; condenser mic 6″ from vocal—mouth clicks audible; LPF 10 kHz for velour]
Had a PhD in heartbreak by the time I hit twenty-five,
Every detour, every pothole—called it “growth” just to stay alive.
Shelf’s full of self-help trophies, gold-leaf spines all in a row,
Tonight I’m pawning wisdom for tequila lights and a front-row glow.
[Pre-Chorus 0:41–0:55 | horns swell pad-style under −12 LUFS; hi-hat opens 1/8 slosh; vocal scoops up a major-third on “pain”]
I’ve been sharpening edges on the grindstone of my pain,
Now I’m tossing out the toolbox—let the sunshine stain the grain.
[Chorus 0:56–1:26 | kick unmutes; open snare; horns jab syncopated hits; side-chain pump 4 dB; choir (SAT) answers words in bold clap-back]
Lessons in the rearview, golden miles ahead,
Gonna kiss the morning, paint the skyline red.
No more book of warnings weighing down my drive,
I’m done with learning—now I’m here to live the life.
[choir chant, stomp-claps] Live the life! Live the life!
[Turnaround 1:27–1:34 | tenor-sax six-note lick ascending to high G; wah-guitar choke scratches; congas roll 16ths]
[Verse 2 1:35–2:04 | brush-kit ghost notes; congas/woodblock accent “and-a” counts; vocal slides blue-notes]
Grandma said, “Boy, wisdom’s fine, but joy’s the real degree,”
So I’m skipping night class, chasing daylight currency.
Pop the cork on possibility, let bubbles blur the blur,
If trouble tries to text me, I’ll reply with “new phone—who dis, sir?”
[Pre-Chorus 2:05–2:19 | guitar wah scratches quarter-note pulses; choir hums tight triads; tape-echo ½-bar throw on “sound”]
Pages full of lessons turn to paper airplanes now,
Watch ’em loop above the city—hear the freedom in the sound.
[Chorus 2:20–2:50 | horns weave counter-melody; clap pattern doubles; airy synth-pad octave swell]
Lessons in the rearview, golden miles ahead,
Gonna kiss the morning, paint the skyline red.
No more book of warnings weighing down my drive,
I’m done with learning—now I’m here to live the life.
[choir chant, stomp-claps] Live the life! Live the life!
[Bridge 2:51–3:13 | drops to flam hand-claps on 2 & 4; talkbox-guitar answers vocal; sub-bass sine holds root F]
[spoken-sung with half-laugh]
Here’s to rooftop laughter, second servings, sunset wine,
Late-night vinyl spinning, friends who never check the time.
If tomorrow teaches something, let it catch me on the sand—
’Cause tonight I’m busy dancing with the good life hand-in-hand.
[Lift 3:14–3:17 | 32nd-note snare fill; whole-step key change to G]
[Final Chorus 3:18–3:48 | trumpet & trombone harmonize thirds; choir unison; overhead mic crush adds air]
Lessons in the rearview, golden miles ahead,
Gonna kiss the morning, paint the skyline red.
No more book of warnings weighing down my drive,
I’m done with learning—now I’m here to live the life.
[choir lift, stacked octaves] Live the life—yeah, live the life!
[Outro 3:49–4:05 | band vamps four bars; talkbox-guitar pentatonic run; horns sustain fade; crowd cheer center; master fader rides −3 dB]
[soft, close-mic whisper with smile]
Good life, baby… that’s the syllabus now.
