Welcome!
Hey everyone, welcome to Project 300! Communication was a big issue last time, so we made a central hub to talk, deliver info, etc. So much more to come! Feedback is welcome - we are new to this platform so yeah it’ll be a little clunky. But Jan 1 @Frank Sepe and we will be ready to rock.

Mindset and motivation monday.
Not trying to gloat but listen to my weightloss journey and maybe use it as motivation or proof that anything is possible. Im currently a 4.5 year post op Bariatric patient. Some people say I took the easy way. Well they are wrong the surgery was a tool and that's it. The dieting and the training are twice as hard as any normal human. So by no means is my life easy at all. The reason I had a success was my mindset knowing my why and what I wanted in life. And to my already bug stregth carrying all that weoght for so many years. To start I was 525 lbs in January of 2021. I finally seen a dr after 11 years of not caring about my health. I was told I had sever high bp and sleep apnea and if I didn't do something I would be lucky to live 5 more years before a heart attackor stroke. I was at the time married and I wanted to have a future and grow old with my then bride and step kids. So I got delayed 2 times for surgery because it was during covid but that didn't stop me I still kept pushing and everyday till surgery plus I had to lose some weight for the insurance. I went from 525lbs 1/2021 to 423 lbs April 27th 2022. April 27th 2022 was the day my life changed everything my outlook on life, health, meaning and everything I've kept a promise to my self i would always move forward and never come back to the big I was before. By October of 2023 I weighed 182 lbs at my lowest I felt great but im 6ft 3in and was to skinny for my frame. Plus I got into running and ocr racing so I decided to bulk in muscle and now maintaining 225 to 230lbs which is why the number 300 has a meaning to me and why im joining battle with you all. I've gotten issa certified. Sgx certified with spartan and my mission in my life is to help others that struggle like I did weither its mental health, physical health or struggling with weight loss. I vowed to help others like I was helped. We are the 300 strong anything and I mean ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!! DIG DEEP AND JUST BELIEVE!!!!! I had the honor to do death race summer this year with coach Zach and look forward to doing it again and hope many of you join. Death race has changed me so much and how I look at life even more. We all are family and I will always have your guys 6. ;Igy6.
