MY meditations: Day 1
Hey so I started reading meditations and I liked the idea of just writing down my thoughts about whatever so please, my friend and wise mentor, let me hear your thoughts on "Meditations: my version":
Some actions and aspects of reality are not allowed or restricted by first yourself, then society, then by law, and last by the order of the universe. Always find the most binding and restrictive entities - whether it be health (disease/injury), authority (parents/government), or any other incarnation of bondage; Physical, Mental, or Authoritative. Most other examples will boil down into one of those three categories, for instance; financial struggle stems from a problem with authority.
Why must our lives be spent devoted to financial gain? Why must our worth in society be based on our career, when most people are not even happy with their lives due to their career? It can then be said that, in this society (where everyone is already being judged all of the time by others because most people are insecure, mistrustful, selfish, and jealous), people are constantly being judged and have equated their self-worth with a job.
Now this is a problem from many angles.
He does not want a job, but he must provide, so he suffers willingly. While suffering willingly, he is being judged both during his work and off the clock (through the brands he wears, the quality of his accessories, the activities in his posts on social media). Judged not by the content of his spirit but by the amount in his pockets. Judged for doing the very things he despises- making someone else rich. Dedicating his whole life for doing something he despises, yet yields no pity, only shame and self-loathing. “Why did I not pay better attention in school?”, one may say. “Why did I not pick a different major?”, or more likely “Why did I even start college?”. A garbage man does not like dealing with garbage, but he must support himself, and his family. He is disrespected by his friends, family, and community. He feels ashamed, but has no choice, as humans must consume food and water (and the right balance AND quality AND consistency), own land to live on, and gain education about the world (learning about this experience of life, what to expect, and how best to prepare).
He is working FOR somebody else. This is not a problem for small, local businesses, but odds are he works front end for a soulless corporation while some yuppies make all the bank in the world.
But even they are only a fraction of the way zoomed out, as they are still controlled ~ somewhat ~ by the government, which is controlled by - a “few people” with interests (???) (Illuminati, Freemasons, Aliens, Reptiles, hollow earth ppl, Jews, galactic feds, interdimensional)
Speaking of zooming out:
When we zoom out on reality, we call it SPACE. What is zooming IN called? It is quite odd to me that we search for information AWAY from ourselves; AWAY from what we have been born with and possessed in our toolbox all along. Zooming in shows fundamentals, or at least gives clues about underlying principles that seem to govern this reality. Using “as above/so below” as a thought experiment, we can infer much more about our reality on a bigger scale too, by first learning about the small stuff.
So what is the whole? What is it objectively? Will we ever know? Can this whole be part of a bigger whole? It would not be a whole then, but merely a part, such as you and I, and the rain, and the chairs, and the atoms between us. And the space between those atoms. And what ever it may be that makes up that “space” -or doesn’t, I am not sure how it works. So an atom is just as must a part of the whole as an entire person, or the planet, or this galaxy. What separates definitively for one, is consciousness. For two, boundaries separate us -meaning that my arm has clear, measurable boundaries of where it ends, how wide it is, how thick. But on a more fundamental level, it is a bunch of atoms or elements or whatever it is that is on the fundamental level (hence the urgency to explore). So these atoms make up me and those atoms make up a chair. So they are separate atoms, but they are both atoms nonetheless. This means that reality is homogenous in nature. Everything that exists is just ONE thing. This ONE thing may be God. After all, it has been foretold that he (?) is part of each of us. Atoms are parts of a muscle, muscles are parts of a human, humans are part of a species, a species is part of existence, existence is part of a subjective experience, and so forth.
Plants make up a galaxy, galaxies make up Universes, but how far does it go BIG? How far does it go SMALL? Where should humans look to find answers. We need answers, because it is an inherent responsibility of being alive, to always search for the truth and reveal any hidden wisdom to as many people as possible, as quickly as possible, as effectively as possible.
If we could all see how we are each a part of the whole, we would see how karma is inherently true. Every persecution repaid; Every misdeed made right. You are only every talking to yourself, so why be rude to others? We are all ancestors of the whole, so why create tension with the same beings who are there as teammates, family; they are a part of you, as a part of the whole.
What is Music?
Why do we say we can feel it? What would it taste like? Smell like? You can apply this thought pattern to any concept. Interesting how that works.
But anyways, what is the meaning of music in the human experience? It could be said that music may be a bonding experience, requiring multiple instruments and a group of people, performing to a much larger group of people -but that goes besides the point. People have an innate love for rhythm; Ready, set go, Three two one, 4/4 time signature, drill music. Furthermore, soloists were very popular for long time, just think Beethoven. No band or crew-mates: just dude slamming down bangers on the keys. He was probably going a bit crazy, but sanity is a flexible, slightly subjective concept anyways -as is morality and ethics OFC! :)
More to the point, the love of music may simply be a combination of appealing qualities. Not limited to 1.) Aesthetic appeal - the net sum of all connotations related 2.) Emotional appeal - the net sum of all emotions felt, important is the strength of those emotions as well 3.) Revealed aspects of the whole - by gaining exposure to new sounds, new combinations of sounds, and new rhythms, you gain access to more of the whole! The more experience in a human, the more of the whole they have seen. 4.) Appreciation for other’s creations - humans love art in all forms. 5.) Inspiration from others creativity - Humans may find meaning in the music of others, whether or not the meaning is the implied meaning from the artist can vary from person to person.
I go through my days observing others who seem to be desperately seeking to meet some sort of invisible, imaginary, and unspoken “status quo”. People wearing outfits that look silly because they are expensive. People wearing sexual clothing because celebrities do it. Floating amidst the cultural air is the image of the ideal lifestyle, the ideal partner, and the ideal friends. This foggy image of what we all “should” want to be has created a hive-minded singularity of sheep. Call it “innate desire to fit in”, but people these days, in my opinion, seem far too hesitant to separate from the flock. Not only is this a massive social epidemic, but it leads to AWFUL large-scale consequence. 1.) Conformity - trends will continue to get more degenerative. The rich elites are the 1%, and most people are the working class. That means that working-class people will be the most catered to. This means that trends are likely to be largely controlled by the working class. This is bad, because the working class just WORKS all day and never THINKS. This spawns degeneracy into societies. Twerking has become integrated into the list of “dance moves”, people do drugs at school, and music encouraging self-destructive behaviors all has become mainstream. This is because the working class, on average, does not have enough care, or momentum, or unity, to make a big enough change all at once. With this complacent tranquility in terms of social hierarchy, the working class has all the time in the world to indulge in life’s Dopamine Boosters while not working, just to get by. These Dopamine Boosters have become mainstream such as drug use, sugary treats, lethargy, doom scrolling, sexual content, etc… With it being mainstream to do all of these bad, but addictive things, one gets rewarded for giving in to these pleasures. With consistent positive reinforcement of bad behaviors, and little content for those seeking to acclimate to the elite status, society has become one of modern slavery, utter degeneracy, and insecurity posed as self-righteousness.
