I stepped away from my business for a week to care for my 99-year-old grandma.
And when I came back?
I felt completely behind.
AI moves fast. New tools launch. Platforms change. Conversations keep going. And when you miss even one week, your mind can convince you that everyone has passed you by.
But then I reminded myself of something importantโฆ
Feeling behind doesnโt mean you are behind.
One week away didnโt erase everything Iโve learned, built, created, or accomplished.
The truth is, Iโm still far ahead of the person who hasnโt started yet.
Far ahead of the business owner who has never used AI.
Far ahead of the version of me who once had no idea how powerful this technology could be.
Sometimes the pressure isnโt coming from the outside.
Itโs coming from the voice inside us saying we should be further along.
I may have missed a week of updates, but I didnโt lose my knowledge, my vision, or my momentum.
I missed connecting with people, and Iโm excited to sayโฆ
Iโm back. ๐
Back to learning.
Back to creating.
Back to connecting.
And back to helping others see whatโs possible with AI.
Taking care of someone you love is never falling behind.
Sometimes it simply means pausing for what matters most.
