Illegal shipping usps media mail
Bought an outfit 3 pieces all trashed up from ebay seller. Called ebay because i looked at seller feedback
a recent customer complained of a damaged item and battled with seller.
Seller follows with neg feedback on a positive. (Against ebay policy big time)
Accused buyer of wearing item. Then claimed buyer abused return policy. Because she had a no return policy.
(All a customer has to do is call ebay to return and if they request that seller pays ship back they just deduct it from seller account)
They give seller 3 days to refund or print ship label or they just shut them down.
(Sellers are not allowed to be nasty to a customer in messages or case file messages they will shut you down)
Seller stated i gave you a discount too!
(Sellers choice if they made an offer)
Wow...
I left neg factual feedback with 5 pics .
Then blocked seller.
So as i mentioned before.. i bypassed seller and called ebay.
Ebay could see pics

And any messages prior to purchase with seller.
Read their ad.
Ebay filed the case.
Items were badly stained ,snagged alot, missing about half the decorations.
And looked like A i pics which i guess corrected the flaws...
Shady eh
They even included a video of 1 piece of outfit but didnt show the sides with damage.
Seller was perturbed .. sent nasty messages in case file and did not refund nor pay for ship label.
Seller waits til last minute to send ship label.
And leave nasty comment on feedback and case file insulting me repeatedly like i wore it and damaged it.
(I bought it to resell. 30.00 i could resell at 200.00)
I print it out . Has ship label and return insert.
States " returned damaged in shipping"
???????
Did ebay do this?
Is the seller stating this for more fraud?
So im packing this stuff up
I ship back the entire thing as i received it bag and all. (If they ship in a box i will put the while thing in another box so they get it back just like they shipped it)
So seller can see what they have done.
I notice seller shipped these clothes "media mail usps" which doesnt come with insurance unless you pay extra.
Media will get you pen time in fraud. Usps is a federal entity.
Media has very strong retrictions as to what can be sent media mail.
(Make sure you go to their site and read)
I never use media mail it takes 4 weeks to get there and no insurance comes with it too many tiny little restrictions .
The return label is fedex? Hmmmm
So seller has been on ebay 20 years.
Has 100 feedback.
I didnt research how much is sales and how much are purchases.
They only have like 10 ads . Mostly big giant india scarfs.
Bad part is they photigraph it with a big outfit etc. Thats not being sold.
(Do not put anything in the pics you arent selling or atleast declare it is for demo purposes only in your pics and written description box)
Seller has only sold 2 outfits recently. And both claimed to be brand new without tags.
Package is around 15 by 12 by 4..flexible ..not a book.

Because i think seller is going to file a claim on usps. I want them to see it...
Postmaster states
Media mail goes thru a x-ray machine automatically every package media mail.
And is also subject to open search if usps wants to.
Then recipiant is charged upon arrival or person who shipped is charged a hefty fine before arrival to customer.
Its documented at usps
Repeated violations gets you jail time for abuse of usps.
It ought to be interesting..
I also reported that media mail and the " item damaged in shipping"
If it was damaged in shipping why were the 65 pieces of decorations not in the package when i got it? Because seller is a scammer
Did usps use the outfit?
No i dont think so....

In a small room with a crappy little bed and crappy food.
And a bad record
Then dont do it
If you want ebay to suspend you time out and put you in the corner for days or 3 months at a time or just shut your store down...
Make sure you do not abuse the mail system in any way

And read all about it
