Seal coating
Good morning everyone — kicking off the week with a topic a lot of you have asked about: driveway seal coating.
A lot of beginners overlook this service but it’s a great add-on that increases your average job value significantly.
Here’s the basics:
— Pressure wash the surface thoroughly first. Surface must be completely clean.
— Let it dry fully. 24 hours minimum in warm weather.
— Apply sealer in thin even coats. Don’t glob it on.
— Two coats is standard. Let first coat dry before second.
— Keep traffic off for at least 24-48 hours after final coat.
The upsell conversation is simple: “While we’re already here cleaning your driveway, would you like us to seal it to protect it from future staining and cracking?”
Most homeowners say yes when you explain the protection benefits.
