A neighbor is not defined by who they are; a neighbor is revealed by how they love. Real discipleship is not knowing who deserves mercy—it is becoming a person who shows mercy.
Am I more like the priest, the Levite, or the Samaritan?
Do I allow inconvenience to keep me from helping others?
Is my compassion limited to people who are like me?
When I see a need, do I merely notice it, or do I respond?
