Give next month’s expenses a head start
A surprise expense is often one we knew was coming but never gave a place in the plan.
Take five minutes today: look 30 days ahead for a bill or occasion that is not part of your usual weekly spending. Write down the estimated amount and the date. Then decide what small amount you can set aside from each paycheck before it arrives.
You do not need to share a dollar figure here. What is one upcoming expense you will plan for now instead of reacting to later?
