The Sequence of the course

One thing that I would love to see change in the course is, I would like if the course topics were taught in the order in which they should be completed wow, engaging a project. For example, work breakdown structure should come before defining or developing schedule. In the course we learn develop schedule before we learn or breakdown structure. I’m currently working on an independent project and I have learned that the course sequence does not exactly match the sequence in which I need to work to get the project Has anyone else found this to be true or am I mistaken in the process activities sequence?
