For years, Instagram was quietly lowering reach if you posted too many stories in one day. The Head of Instagram admitted it was an unintentional algorithm issue… and now it’s FIXED. 🙌
👉 This means you can post as many stories as you want without worrying about being penalized. Your reach won’t automatically drop just because you’re showing up more.
⚡ But remember your story views still depend on engagement.
Things that boost reach:
✨ Replies / DMs
✨ Shares
✨ Stickers (polls, questions, sliders)
✨ Watch time
✨ Profile visits
And things that kill reach:
❌ Low or no engagement
❌ Exits
❌ Next story swipes
❌ Forward taps
