When things make sense on paper — but not in real life
I’ve noticed that many of the things I struggle with aren’t actually hard.
They’re things that make perfect sense in theory —but fall apart once real life is involved.
Language is one example.Routines are another. So is moving between countries, or trying to “get back on track” after a break.
On paper, it all looks logical. In real life, there are emotions, timing, energy, context.
I’ve started to think that a lot of frustration comes from assuming that understanding should automatically lead to ease.
It often doesn’t.
I’m curious —what’s something in your life right now that makes sense in theory, but feels strangely hard in practice?
