project ideas/help

As a massive Formula1 fan i would love to create something to do with data analysis...

I really need to get better at creating projects for myself, and asking the right type of questions and then tackling the issues. Currently stuck at this stage with each project that i do.

I have no idea where to find a decent dataset for formula 1 - (Had a look at kaggle already)
I have no idea what questions i would be asking?
what problem am i trying to solve?

i guess what im trying to say is, i always find it hard starting off the project...

any tips/advice would be much appreciated.
